"Mi pareja, Eitan, se duerme tranquilamente en esta pintura con un fondo rojo. Yo estaba muy emocionado al principio de nuestra relación, y sigo igual hoy en dia. Ya había aceptado mi propia sexualidad. Esta pintura representa el amor profundo que sentía por él en ese momento. Su tranquilidad significa la aceptación completa de si mismo. El fondo rojo domina la pintura y simboliza la vida, la pasión y la dominación. Veía a este hombre como un objeto sexual y me sentía totalmente cómodo con la sexualidad de los dos"
